Episode 52: James Musselwhite (Portrait Of A Wrestler)
Sunday Apr 01, 2018
Sunday Apr 01, 2018
James Musselwhite knew photography was his thing as a kid. With persistence, a program was even created for him in school and he developed his craft in isolation. But through determination, a long-term mindset, and events that led him to go all in, James now finds community all over the world as he documents the biggest events in pro wrestling.
In an episode that brings the first year of Chocolate Croissants to a close, James chats with Jordan from over in the UK! He talks about the moments he knew photography and pro wrestling were for him. He then goes on to tell his story that includes numerous jobs, breaking into photography with an intense political escapade, learning how to build a business working with families, surviving cancer, and ultimately creating a path into the niche world of pro wrestling.
James is the complete package...smart, articulate, kind, and professional. He does us all a favor by sharing his story that we're confident will inspire, no matter your interests. There's no one we'd rather have close out our inaugural year of CC!
Connect with James on: YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, & Twitter

Episode 51: Eric Koenreich (Family Food Dude/Pro Wrestler)
Sunday Mar 25, 2018
Sunday Mar 25, 2018
Eric spent nearly a decade training to become and working as a professional wrestler. While he enjoyed success, notably in Ring of Honor, he came to a crossroads in the late 00's and decided to move on. The transition was tough, leading Eric to a therapist to deal with binging behavior head on.
Eric shares his story of owning his shit and creating even greater successes as a result. He is a family man through and through. He's a great content creator with much of his content being food related. We chat about the difference of quality over quantity when attracting an audience. Eric is also a coach of physical fitness and nutrition.
The leader of Team Lemon is a great model of masculinity in a 2018 world. We dig into all of this and more on Episode 51!

Episode 49: Joe Hamilton (Prism Recordings)
Sunday Mar 11, 2018
Sunday Mar 11, 2018
This is a special episode for us. You may have noticed Joe's name ending most of these descriptions. He has stepped up as the biggest weekly contributor to this Chocolate Croissants project.
It all began when he took an on tour lesson with Matt many years ago...a night that Joe dealt with the anxieties he had become familiar with.
In Epsiode 49 we dive deep into Joe's mental health and coping, and how through it all, he continues to put in the work personally and professionally. Joe shares about the strategies he employs to network throughout the world which has afforded him community and has helped grow his career as an artist.
He even does the Outro...a first for this podcast! It's our hono(u)r to share our best bud from the UK, Joe Hamilton!

Episode 48: Mike McFadden (Animal Years)
Friday Mar 02, 2018
Friday Mar 02, 2018
Mike McFadden, singer and guitarist of Animal Years, joins Jordan and Justin to tell the classic tale of 'aspiring musician moving to New York City to make it.'
The difference is that this dude just performed on network TV...specifically CBS This Morning. He takes us through the entire experience starting by renting a practice space to rehearse for a performance that would essentially be to a camera but potentially reach millions over the world.
Mike’s greatest non-musical strength has been to actually leave the practice space and meet people face-to-face. Any aspiring creative with big dreams will learn a lot from his strategy, and more importantly, execution. Mike is a genuinely good dude and makes for an easy and fun conversation. Enjoy!

Episode 47: Yvette Young (Covet Guitarist)
Sunday Feb 25, 2018
Sunday Feb 25, 2018
Yvette Young is a classically trained multi-instrumentalist, artist, and guitarist of math-rock band Covet. She joins Matt and Justin to share her story of parental pressure, her battle with an eating disorder leading to a heart not strong enough to support her body, and how teaching herself guitar aided in her recovery. The trio dig into how to treat “celebrities” and how to treat and respect boundaries of co-workers. Yvette shares her depth with strength and vulnerability…but is still easy going enough to open with a chat about dragon eroticism--for real. Enjoy Episode 47 with this gem of an artist!
